Is there a way to send an email with a "read receeipt?"

Not with Xfinity Connect.  But most other email programs offer that option.  Check out free programs such as Windows alive Mail, Gmail, Thunderbird, 

Note:  Know that even when youndonrequestva receipt by sent to you, it is always still up to that person if they want the notification sent to you.

Do you use XfinityConnect? The Full or Lite version?
Do you use an email client? Which one? (Eg; Windows Live mail, Outlook, a smartphone etc.)
Which browser/version do you use? And- have you cleared your browser cache?
