resize photos

The management company from whom I rent has a form to use for issues that need to be addressed.  Photo attachments need to be less than 5 MB.  What do I do?

Re: resize photos

I gather you want to send them a photo as an email attachment, is that right?  If so, and you have a smartphone, any pics you take with it should easily be way below the 5 Mb threshold.  But photos you have on your computer can be resized using whatever image handling software you have like MS Paint for Windows, or Preview on a Mac.  You could upload the image to a hosting site like Photobucket, or use a cloud service like iCloud or Google Drive etc.

Re: resize photos

It didn't help because I don't have enough of a tech background to understand it. I took the photos with my Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and they are over 5 MB. The photos are uploaded to my computer, and I still have the problem.

Re: resize photos

I don't have an Android phone, but I have an iPhone.  If I take a photo and then go to email it to someone, it will prompt me to choose a size like Small, Medium or Large.  See if this applies to you------------------

Re: resize photos

When I had an iPhone I could do that too. Thanks though.

Re: resize photos

I think it will, but I have to use the management company's form to upload the photos. I'll have to play with it to see if I can adjust my email to work with that. Thank you so much!

Re: resize photos

I admire your tenacity!  I can create my own email, but I have to access a form on the management company's website which results in their own internal communication.
