About an hour ago, I received the following message, after trying to send a message to someone with a gmail address.

From: mail-daemon@comcast.net
Date: Fri, 18 Nov 2016 17:39:55 +0000
To: [me]
Subject: Message Not Delivered

Delivery has failed to these recipients or groups:

[him]@gmail.com

 

The email you attempted to send could not be delivered due to system issues. Please check your sent folder and attempt to send the message again.

Note: I have never had a problem sending email to that person.

 

And just now, I received the following message from a third party with whom I have never had difficulties exchanging email traffic:
