I have used Outlook 2016 for over a year to read my Comcast emails. Two weeks ago I started getting "unable to find connect" error. I can access my account using a browser and my phone. Below are my settings:

Software: Office 365 ProPlus version: 1706, Build 8229.2103

Incoming:

Server: imap.comcast.net

Port: 993

Encrytion: SSL/TLS

SPA: no

Outgoing:

Server: smtp.comcast.net

Port: 587

Encrytion: SSL/TLS

SPA: no

I have also tryed imap port 143 and smtp port 465. I also tried to create a POP account but it also did not work. After reading different sites on the correct settings, I have noticed that this version of Outlook no longer has just a TLS encryption option and that Outlook has added a new encrytion type, STATTLS. None of the "setting" sites even reference STATTLS or SSL/TLS, just TLS. I also deleted the account from Outlook and tryed to recreate the account.
