out going mail

out going mail

When I tried to send a message, it would not go.  It went into my outbox and remained there for several hours in spite of me trying to resend it.  I tried unpluging the power and waited and then pluged it back but I could not send any messages.  This problem has happened before and has  been fixed but it seems only temporarily.  I do business from my home and it is a necessity for me to respond to messages and to create and send messages.

Re: out going mail

I am also having this problem.  Have you solved the issue?

My outgoing mail suddenly stopped working yesterday morning,  I am receiving incoming emails and can Reply or Forward an email but the Send button is gray (not blue) and is unavailable.  However,  I can send emails through web based servers.  Outgoing mail is unavailable on my phone and iPad for all my email accounts.  I was using emails all morning and then it stopped and I cannot send any emails from Comcast, Gmail, and Exchange accounts.

Help!!!!
