new modem e-mail can't connect

I installed new modem.  Internet & telephone work fine, but e-mail doesn't connect to incoming server

The modem wouldn't affect your sign-in.  Exactly what happens when you try to access it?  Are you getting to the sign-in page or the Inbox?
