keeping email

keeping email

I have two houses, both have Comcast but on different accounts.  If I cancel service on one account can I have the email addresses associated with that account reassigned to the other account?

Re: keeping email

What you are describing can be done.  You need to call Comcast security and start with them.-------------

Comcast Customer Security Assurance-------------------

Normal business hours (6:00 am to 2:00 am EST, 7 days a week)

1 - 888-565-4329

Now there is another possiblity looming soo (we hope)------------Comcast is planning to adopt  a policy for  former  customers to be able to keep their existing email accounts open even if they cancel service, in a manner similar to AT&T and some other ISPs that do the same thing.  It was supposed to have gone into effect last  month, but because of coding issues it hasn't happened yet.  We don't know when it will exactly.  Under that plan you will only need to keep signing into the account once every 90 days to keep it active.  So just be aware of that situation if it applies to you.
