if we cancelled service with comcast, but are moving in with family that has comcast can we keep email address and how do we do it?

I don't think you can.  When you cancel your service, the user ID goes into supension for 90 days, and then is released to the pool of available IDs for any other Comcast customer that may want it.  You could transfer it to a different location as long as Comcast is available there, but you would still have to have your own account with them.  The people you are moving in with could let you have a secondary account with them of course, but it wouldn't be the one you have right now.  After the 90 days is up, you could try to set it up as a secondary on their account if no one else has taken it.
