is this a scam?

Hello - I am using a lab computer at the senior center, and this window popped up:

Dear Comcast Business Communications Customer from Bothell,

Serious security threats might have been detected on 3/18/2015 @ 14:32. Your personal photos, creditcard information and passwords might have been compromised.

It is highly recommended you do NOT continue using your computer until you've contacted an official technician. Your IP ( might be targeted right now.

Please call this number as soon as possible.
An official technician will help you remove any adware/spyware on your computer.

I tried to call support to let them know about this, but the phone signal is so bad that I couldn't hear half of what he said.  So I am posting this in hope that it will be helpful.

Re: is this a scam?

Yes, it is a phishing scam. Becareful in what you click and don't call. Close your browser, update your anti-virus and run it.

Good luck
