Be aware that Microsoft is not supporting nor is it updating Internet Explorer 7 any longer.  You can use Firefox, Chrome, Opera, etc....  You should have a quality Anti-Virus application installed and running if you are using the Internet.

The Support Forums are "public" forums and you should not post identifiable information - (full name, account number, address, phone numbers & email addresses).  Users of these forums are Comcast customers, the same as you & me and volunteer their time to assist with the issues and/or problems that you may be experiencing. Comcast Official Employees (OE) are identified with RED lettered User Names. Comcast Appointed Experts are identified with GREEN lettered User Names.

Re: internet explorer 7

You cannot uninstall Internet Explorer, unless you had an older version of IE originally with Windows and had upgraded. Any 'uninstall' would just downgrade to the original IE.

What version of Windows are you running? As mentioned, Microsoft is no longer offering security updates for anything below IE11 (except for Vista, where I think they still support and older version as Vista is still under support itself, and IE11 isn't available for Vista.)

Generally, stick with Firefox or Chrome if you want to remain safe on an older version of Windows.
