incredimail

Unable to send mail using incredimail.  I have Windows 10. Getting this message:

Socket error 10060 , Port 143, Protocol: SMTP. A connection attemp failed becuase the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.

What to do to be able to send mail?

Check your settings for the SMTP server

 

Port 143, Protocol: SMTP

is not for the outgoing SMTP server

I did use the settings according to the link but they did not work.  Even when I tried those under "Only if Needed." What other settings can I use for outgoing?

Okay I downloaded incredimail and tried it on Xfinity email.  It does not properly set up mail for Comcast.  It sets it up as IMAP which is fine as it works with that.  But it puts mail.comcast.net for the incoming server and the wrong port numbers.   Change the mail.comcast.net to imap.comcast.net and change the ports see screen shots below.

 

The account setup portion of Incredimail seems buggy.

Thanks.... I did that before and it didn't work, but it did work today.
