iPhone and Comcast Email

I am able to receive my comcast e-mails on my iPhone 5s. However, when I try to reply to or send an e-mail I receive an error message: "Cannot send e-mail. User name or password is incorrect".  Can you help?

Has it ever worked? If so, try again after a few minutes.

 

If it hasn't ever worked, have you checked your settings against my screenshots at

Pay particular attention to having a "strong" password that includes upper and lower case as well as a digit. Sometimes some parts of the system let through a less strong password while other parts require it.

Having the same problem, and no matter how I follow the advice/instructions given on these pages, there is, simply put, no fix.

APPLE support suggested that I DELETE the COMCAST account completely and ADD a COMCAST email account to the phone.

 

It worked with no issues.  And it still is working.
