how to attach an Open Office document to an e-mail

Need to attach an Open Office document to e-mail to send.  Could not attach from Open Office so scanned and sent to desktop.  From e-mail have not been able to access desktop to attach.

Re: how to attach an Open Office document to an e-mail

Why did you "scan" a document to your computer?  Is it someplace on your system you can navigate to when you click on "Attach" when sending an email from the Comcast webmail?  I use Open Office at times and I've never had a problem attaching an .odt document to an email.

Did you save the document to your computer?  Hopefully so.

Using Xfinity Connect wemail:

Start a new email; fill in the To: and Subject: fields

Click on the Attach button.  Your choice should be File from my computer.

Click on File from my computer.

Browse to the location your Open Office document is saved.

Click the Attach button.

The maximum size of an emai is 25 MB, which includes attachments and headers.
