how do I find and remove a web page that is slowing down my browser?

I keep getting the messge, "a web page is slowing down your browser.what would you like to do"

How can I find and get rid of this "web page"

Do you have something running in the background that is hidden from sight?  How many windows or tabs do you have open?  Try clearing out your browser's cache/browsing history. When you have done that, close out the browser and re-start it in a fresh session.  If that doesn't do it, then try using a different browser and see if you can duplicate the problem that way.

Others who find this thread will want to know--------what solved it for you----------that you had too many windows or tabs open, or that you cleared your browser's history or what?
