how can you erase duplicate contacts in the address book.

I must have made a copy of my contacts or something because I have duplicates and have to go one by one to get rid of them.  Is there a way I can just omit duplicates?

Hello, AccordionPY. You can erase multiple contacts at once by following these steps:

  1. Select the Address Book tab.
  2. Select the contact(s) you would like to delete from your XFINITY Connect Address Book by clicking in the checkbox to the left of their name.
  3. Click on the Delete tab or Delete contact icon located in the Address Book toolbar.

If you are still on the old email format, on the Inbox page click on Address Book, and on the landing page you will see "Check for duplicate contacts".  Click on that and follow the prompts.  In the new format there is no provision for de-duping the address book.  You have to do it manually.

Since Comcast has gone to some kindof new format there are many significant issues - one being that it now has 3 email addresses vs the one only that I had. If the comment above is accurate I have nearly 1000 to manually delete. Very poor.

Also, I find to use the eail, it is taking several clicks vs just minimum before, plus everything is slower even though I have "Blast". Very poor!
