group e mails according to person who sent it

group e mails according to person who sent it

When I open my e-mails I can click on the date and get the e-mails from earliest to latest, but I can't group the "sent by" together. I used to be able to do this. Probably an easy fix, but I am stuck and I am constantly searching for that e-mail from so- and- so

Right-click in the grey area to the right of "Sorted by" at the top of the message list, and you should see this----------------

Sorting Options from Gray Bar 03:04:2015.jpg

Try selecting "Sort by From" or "Group by From" to get what you need.

Thank you for trying to help. I did not see the box like you displayed but there was a simlar one. I clicked on "from" and it  still sorts it according to date. I also can't "unexpand" the screen. Each time I click it "off" it expands the screen more. I think I'll quit before I mess it up more.

Are you on a desktop or laptop computer, or a tablet or what?  If you're using a computer and going to your email through a browser, you should be easily able to see what I posted.  Here's a better one, just right-click in the grey bar area to get what I posted above---------------
