forwarded emails

I am unable to see an email that was sent to me that had been previously forwarded.  I can only see the body of the email if I do "forward"  or "reply all".  Is there a fix for this?  This latest Xfinity internet update was a joke, very user unfriendly.

In the new email format, click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the page, then on Settings.  Under Mail Settings>>>>>Compose, is the box checked for "Insert the original email text to a reply"?  If not, check it.

No, I don't think you are responding to my problem, since that does not apply, nor does it fix it.

 

I do NOT see a sender's email(that she is forwarding from another sender) to me unless I hit "forward" or "reply" first.
