how can i forward an email

Service Expert

Re: forward

Open the email.

If using Xfinity Connect (online email access)

1) Highlight the mail in your inbox. Click FORWARD in the toolbar.

2) Open the email. Click FORWARD in the toolbar

If using an email client (Windows Live Mail, Outlook, Thunderbird, etc) the process is the same. An email client may have a drop down arrow next to forward with choices to forward inline or as an attachment.

If you are wanting to forward mail from your Comcast account to an alternate email account that you have for yourself

open Xfinity Connect. Highlight the mail in your inbox, right click and set the mail parameter(s) for forwarding only mail from that sender to one of your other email accounts. Under Perform the following actions, choose Redirect to address, enter your alternate email address, click OK.

To forward all mail elsewhere, use the forwarding option in Preferences.
