My whole Inbox has disapperared. Any suggestions as to whay happened

If your Inbox is empty...

Click on Preferences

Click on Email Settings

Scroll down to the EMAIL DELETION SCHEDULE and open it.  Look at the number of days the Schedule is set to automatically delete all messages.  Make any changes you wish to make to each Folder.  I would change read and unread to never.


in addition, IF YOU USE a smartphone, tablet, it another email program, make sure that the settings in each one is set to LEAVE COPIES OF MESSAGES ON THE SERVER.



Also, on the off chance someone has gotten hold of your password, I would immediately change your password and secret question.

Do you use XfinityConnect? The Full or Lite version?
Do you use an email client? Which one? (Eg; Windows Live mail, Outlook, a smartphone etc.)
Which browser/version do you use? And- have you cleared your browser cache?
Which operating system? XP, Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X
Details of the problem you are having.
