i am not receiving emails and I am supposed to add the senders to a safe senders list.  how do i do this?

If you are on the old email format, from the Inbox page go to Preferences>>>>>Email>>>>>>>Email Safe List.  If you are on the new format, click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the screen, then on Settings>>>>Mail>>>>>Advanced Settings.

 

Understand that if you activate the Safe List, only contacts you put on that list will get to your Inbox.  Nothing else will come through.

Additionally, and this is a crucial detail - the Email Safe List is NOT a whitelist in the classic sense.  It will not overrride spam filtering.
