How do I know if an email I have sent has been read

Re: email

I'm 99.9% sure there's no way to tell if an email's been read using Comcast email.  I had that ability with an email server at work and it was really nice.

Re: email

No, Comcast webmail does not have that option.  You would need to use an email program that does.  Such as Windows Live a Mail, Outlook, Gmail, a Thunderbird.

Note:  even if the email program offers the request receipt, it is still always up to the receipient if they want to allow one to be sent to you.  Many customers choose to ignore the request.
