So you mean you are getting the Xfinity homepage? If so, that's what is supposed to happen. The best way to avoid it is to enable the account in a desktop client like Outlook, Windows Live Mail or Thunderbird. Once you are on the Inbox page, you can also drag and drop the url for it from the address bar in your browser to your Bookmarks/Favorites bar. It will hold as long as you are signed into the account.
