At the top of the email message list, right-click anywhere in the grey bar area to the right of "Sorted by" xxxxxxxxxx You should see this----------------
Select "By Date" as your criteria. Also, in the toolbar above the reading pane click on "View". Make sure you have it set to "By message" in stead of "By Conversation".
Are you not seeing this?--------------------------
If not, then you are probably using the Lite version of Xfinity Connect. That will look like this----------
My grey bar looks like yours.
Click on Date and you should see the newest email at the top. If not, you may have to click on Date again.
It looks as though your email is being sorted by From alphabetically.

Be aware that having your Genealogy folder directly under the Inbox means the folder is subject to the Inbox deletion schedule. Probably OK if you have Inbox deletion set to Never/Never, but Comcast has been known to reset these schedules without notice. Unless you have a good reason for locating the folder there, consider moving it down where your Notes folder is.
