I went to live chat support for help and was on the phone while customer service apologized 20 times and asked me

the same security information over and over again. I hung up in frustration. I tried to get in to my email and it suddenly

no longer worked using my name, mkarbley. I mistakenly entered the password instead of the user name and that

caused me to locked out of using my own name! I have spoken to five reps and two supervisors who all promised

they would fix it and get back within 24 to 48 hours. In desparation I made up a new username and was using this

temorarily until I could get back my name. Did not receive any more calls or if they called no messages until today,

acting as if all is just fine. It isn't ! There is no follow through with Comcast. I think after 20 years it is time to see how

Verizon will treat us better and maybe cost less. We pay over $200. a month!

Exactly what happens if you try to access your email now?  Are you getting some kind of error message or what?

The Comcast rep called on Sunday to let me know that he was able to get my original email name back! This after I already

notified most of my email list of my new user name. Now I have two email addresses, further complicating my life.

I will probably let the junk email continue in to the old address.

No one could explain why I was locked out of my saved user name and password to begin with. This is what began the

whole scenario. I guess it is to be expected and I should not ask why...
