email rejected as spam - how can I fix that?

A sender of an email to me tells me it is being rejected for delivery to me as spam.  How can I fix that.  It is not spam and I need to get the email which has an attachment. Thanks!

Comcast Security Assurance might be able to help you with this. Give them a call at 1-888-565-4329 (from http://constantguard.comcast.net/help/report-abuse/). Note that this is NOT one of the general customer service numbers.

The first-line reps there are sometimes not very helpful. If so, be persistent, and keep at them until you get a satisfactory answer.

It might be both quicker and less stressful to set up an email account with another provider (Gmail, Outlook.com, Yahoo, etc.). There are many free ones, and they are almost certainly operated by companies which are much more competent that Comcast.
