how do i make a group email address private - that is, that the only thing showing to the recipients is the name of the group and not everyone's email address?

To keep the addresses private, put them in the Bcc: field.  That way they can't see each other's email addresses.  In the To: line put your own email address, and nothing else.

perfect solution - i was thinking along the lines of outlook features and never thought of this.  appreciate your help!
