how do i change my information that appears with my email address when I send an email to someone. Thanks

If you are referring to what would appear at the end of your email, the email signature that is, this link has a lot of information on how to create and use email signatures https://customer.xfinity.com/help-and-support/internet/xfinity-connect-advanced-features/

Are you talking about changing the From anyone@comcast.net [your email address] to John Q Public [where that is your name]?

 

If you're on the old email format you need to click on Preference, then Email, then Composing.

 

If you're on the new email format, Latoque will have to help you with that because I'm still on the old format.
