Sending an attachment on a new email.  How do I get it to show as an attachment, not a large desplay as part of the email text section?  I go to attachment, select computer file, browse and double click on the desired file.  But it displays at end of text in too large a size.  It does not show as an attachment to be downloaded by receipient.

Re: email attachments

Make sure you are not setting the attachment to appear in the body of the email.  You have that option in the attachment window.

Re: email attachments

Thanks Carole.  I'm embarrassed to admit I never noticed the little block that was checked to put the attachment in the msg text.  That took care of my problem.

Re: email attachments

Carole and the Comcast tech staff both gave me the solution.  When selecting attachment, I simply needed to uncheck the box  that puts the file in the text instead of as an attachement.  Appreciate the fast and good response.
