disappearing emails

disappearing emails

Recently, my emails have been disapearing after a few days. At first i thought it was only on my phone but after checking online i found that none of my old emails are saved in my inbox online either. I have gone through all settings and my emails are set to never delete in my inbox. I have 10 emails in my inbox now and it seems like every time i get a new email the oldest one deletes so only 10 are in the inbox at a time. How do i fix this and get the old emails to come back? Help please. Thankyou
