connection with nexus...customer service

so, trying to get my Nexus tablet to connect to Comcast.net email address...contacts pleasant, polite, but geez, 3.5 hours of chat, and two dropped calls, before a guy calls back and says "we have problems with Android...give me ten minutes (after 3.5 hours) to fix this - everyone else kept asking for my info, minutes adding up...then call drops, oh joy. Why didn't the first person know there is an issue?  Better to tell me right off "just use your gmail account...".  Why so many polite folks, with no answers, direction?? Shuffled to two other connections, both dropped!
