computer "invaded"

computer "invaded"

When I'm trying to use my computer a line comes on at the bottom of the screen in a box that says something like I

cannot use the computer due to a long running script.  There is a place that says "stop script".....it stops until I pause

and then it starts running again......takes forever to do anything having to stop the darn script every few minutes.  Has

anyone else had this happen?  I am definitely not running a long script and can't imagine how anyone else could.....thanks

for any help.

The "Long Running Script" error message is within your browser...a webpage yoiu are viewing has an imbedded script that is taking too long for your browser's liking....

You can try to change to a different browser ( Chrome, Opera, Firefox, IE etc ) to see if the new browser doesn't mind the long running script.....  For example, I run mostly CHROME and I have yet to see that error message on the Xfinity site.
