comcast is blocking legitimate emails

Comcast is blocking emails from Staples, Frontier Airlines, the local spa I use, and others over time. I used to be able to recieve emails from the spa and from Staples. This is a problem. I'm trying to reset a password at Frontier and the email they keep resending never reaches me, not inbox, not spam, nothing. I am forced to call the companies, and have them change my comcast email to gmail to recieve their emails. This is unsatisfactory. Is there a way to correct this problem? Very irritating and sometimes you don't realize that you're not receiving authorized communications until the omission creates big problems. Help?

You can call Comcast security and see if there is a blocking issue for those sender's domains--------------------

Comcast Security Assurance might be able to help you with this. Give them a call at 1-888-565-4329 (from http://constantguard.comcast.net/help/report-abuse/). Note that this is NOT one of the general customer service numbers.

The first-line reps there are sometimes not very helpful. If so, be persistent, and keep at them until you get a satisfactory answer.

Moving your email to a more competent provider like Gmail is really the only long term fix for this. Comcast continues to fail to commit the resources necessary to operate their systems properly.

Thanks. I called and spoke to a rep for about 10 min before getting disconnected. They apparently don't do callbacks. Gmail looking better and better.
