How can I switch from portrait to landscape again?

Using landscape or portrait orientation is a function of your browser.  I use Chrome, and if I use the print function from the File menu that is how I can change it.  You might also be able to change it using the controls for your printer.

 

To print a message you are composing before sending,  in the Compose page look all the way over to the right for what appears to be two small pages or windows overlapping each other.  Click on that to compose in a new window, then you can print it using your browser's print functon in the File menu, or Cntrl-P.  It will print the body of the message and the header.
