cant send mail from ipad

cant send mail from ipad

I get an error message saying my password is invalid and I can not send email out on ipad, yet I can recieve email? What to do? Email works fine both in and out on desktop and android phone. What to do??

Your Mail settings on the iPad must match the settings elsewhere...Eg:desktop or phone.

Go to Mailmon your iPad, click the arrow to the right of  your username and check all settings.

Do you use XfinityConnect? The Full or Lite version?
Do you use an email client? Which one? (Eg; Windows Live mail, Outlook, a smartphone etc.)
Which browser/version do you use? And- have you cleared your browser cache?
Which operating system? XP, Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X
