cancel an email address

I need to cancel an email. <Edited for violating forum guidelines: "Personal Information"> was my husband's account and he recently passed away. How can I do this?

Re: cancel an email address

It depends -----------was your husband the primary account holder?  If so, it means the bills were being paid in his name.  So if your account is a secondary, you need to switch it to being the primary.  See here for the instructions for doing that----------------

https://customer.xfinity.com/help-and-support/account/change-your-primary-account-user/?eqs=50A58F20...

Once you have done that, you can then sign in as the new primary and delete the other account.  To do that-------------------

Sign into your Primary account, then on the landing page click on Users at the top. You should see the list of accounts you have. To the right click on Edit. On the next page, under the account name, you should see the options to Suspend or Remove the account.
