how to build a email list to send the same message to several email addresses at the same time

From the Inbox page, go to Address Book.  Once there, in the left pane click on the "New Group" button, name it, and then just add the contacts to it you want to send to.

thank you ; i am a new user, and could not find my way to sending email to multiple addresses.

Using a group is convenient for sending emails to the same list of people all the time.  But if you only have a handful, and it's a one-time thing, you can just manually start typing their names into the To: field, and if they are in the address book it will populate them, separated properly.
