we keep getting an email that i'm sure is spam, I have clicked spam for it multiple time but it keeps coming through. How can we block the email address?

It takes time to "train" the spam filters.  But in the meantime, if the email is coming from the exact same email address, you could try to set up an individual filter for it.  From the Inbox page go to Preferences>>>>>Email>>>>>>Email Filters and follow the prompts.
