block emails that are spam

years ago I emailed this person. Lately I get no less than 8 emails a day. They are spam. I have emailed her, asking her to delete my email. I told her she was hacked. no reply. How do I block her email? I mark it spam...still they come! Help!

Re: block emails that are spam

If the person is somehow avoiding automatic spam filter, you can create your own.

  1. Open an email in question, or select it by marking "checkbox" next to it in your inbox.
  2. Click Actions, New Filter
  3. Person's email will already be populated in the "From".
  4. Remove "Subject" criteria by clicking blue minus sign
  5. Under "Perform the following actions" select Delete
  6. Give your filter a name (any name), make sure that "Active" checkbox in the top right corner of the window is checked, and click OK to save.
  7. All future emails from the specified email account will go directly to trash.
