My inbox  automatically being emptied & all emails being sent to trash. How to fix?

Re: automatically deleted emails

Check your email deletion schedules to see how they're set.  From the Inbox page, go to Preferences>>>>>>Email>>>>>>Email Deletion Schedules.

Re: automatically deleted emails

Thanks but this  doen't fix the problem. All settings have 30 days or more prior to deletion but I reset all dates & it still doesn't work.

Re: automatically deleted emails

Do you have the account enabled on a smartphone or a tablet?  Because the settings in those will override the Preferences in Comcast.  If you have either one you need to check the settings for them to see if that accounts for the deletions.
