Does Mail open immediately whenever you launch Safari?

Or does this just happen when you click on a mailto link? Are you asking how to have Safari open mailto links in the Comcast web-based email?

This page describes how to have Safari open mailto links with something else (like gmail). I haven't used it.

Seems like a question more likely to be answered on the Apple forums:

Its Apple Mail & Apple Safari, thus should unlikely to be tied to Comcast, correct?
