address list

When I choose to forward an e-mail i get a double list of email addresses. How do I get rid of the duplicates as they do not show up in my address book just on the lsit for names to send the forward to?

Re: address list

Can you clarify-------where are the duplicates showing up?  In the To: line or what?  They should not be based on what's in your address book, but rather what's in the header of the email you are forwarding.

Re: address list

They are showing up on the list from the TO: lines . Some are singles and others have duplicates? It should have nothing to do with the message as thses are the people that you are tring to send the information to. Do I need to get a better e-mail program that what comcast offfers?

Thanks

Re: address list

When you start typing a contact in the To:, Cc: or Bcc: fields, you will see entries from your address book based on what you are typing, and also other addresses that you have used before but may not be in your address book.  If you have more than one entry in the address book for a contact I think it will pull that up also.  Is that what you are seeing?
