accessing my xfinity email account

hi everyone,   its been awhile since ive ckd my xfinity/comcast email.  im no longer a comcast subscriber. havent been for years but ive been using my email address off and on.  I cant log on is there any hints or did i miss a memo and only subscribers can have an xfinity/comcast email?

If you left Comcast prior to last April, I'm surprised that you could still access the email.  The policy prior to that was that the email was proprietary, and once you were no longer a paying customer you lost all services including the email.  But in April of 2016 that policy was changed, and now you can keep the email even after you drop service, as long as you had signed into it within 90 days prior to leaving, and then sign in at least once every 9 months thereafter.  As far as I know, there is no way for people who left prior to last April to reactivate the email without having Comcast service.
