Xfinity hotspot connection - stopped working!

I have spoken and chatted with Xfinity several times, to no avail.  I was always able to access the Xfinity wifi from my office, but sometime over the last week it stopped connecting.  I get the message "don't have the correct tier of service".  It has been checked by Xfinity, and I definitely have the correct tier of service.  We have tried rebooting several times, changed passwords - and still can't access from my iphone6 or my ipad.  Apparently Xfinity is calling in a "specialist", but I have had no success in getting this resolved - and I need this access.  The only change that has been made is a recent Apple upgrade - if that may have messed anything up?  Also, I did set up a new router last week, but everything in my home wifi network is working just fine.
