Xfinity homepage Chrome message how to remove

Hi, this tab automatically launches on my mom's Xfinity and I can't figure out how to delete it - she doesn't want Xfinity as her homepage.  Running Chrome, Windows 7 Home version, on a Acer laptop, with current updated versino of Chrome.  I cleaned out the cache, and cannot find the extension in the Chrome settings to remove it.  thank you!!

Just go into Chrome and tell it to use something else as the homepage.  You can use anything you like.   Look here------------

Re: Xfinity homepage Chrome message how to remove

thanks, i have tried that, and the tab still automatically launches, so that we have a Google main page tab, an Xfinity Connect tab (which she is OK with having) and also this 3rd 'Xfinity Chrome Instructions' tab - that's the one I'm trying to get rid of.  All 3 launch when starting Chrome.

Look in the Settings of Chrome, section labeled On Start Up, click on Set Pages and edit the list of pages that are opening when Chrome starts up.
