Xfinity does not work in Chrome browser

Xfinity does not work in Chrome browser

I get this message:

Flash compatibility issue
XFINITY® TV requires a more recent version of Flash.
Please update to the latest version of Flash and ensure your browser is Flash compatible.
Download the latest version of Flash

This is the latest version of Chrome (Version 55.0.2883.59 beta (64-bit)).  I am not sure that Flash is even supported any longer from Chrome since it is so riddled with bugs.

It seems that it isn't Chrome that needs to be updated, it is the Xfinity web service that requires updating!

I only use Chrome and I noticed you had a BETA version installed.... my version ( up to date ) is 54.0.2840.99 m (64-bit)

ADOBE FLASH is not used with Chrome and is a proprietary version incorporated.

Re: Xfinity does not work in Chrome browser

I do not know why Chrome is giving me beta versions.  I do not see any control in settings to tell Google not to give me beta versions.

Version 55.0.2883.59 beta (64-bit)
Google Chrome is up to date.

Do you think this makes any difference for my problem?

Seems like Comcast needs to get off their collective duff, remove Flash and update to HTML5.
