Xfinity Toolbar & Firefox After Version 29

I have seen several complaints outside this forum which are exactly as the one I am posting here: The Xfinity Toolbar does not appear in any Firefox browser higher than version 29.  All the methods I have tried to get the toolbar attached have failed.  Yet the same Toolbar works fine on every Firefox version from 9 to 29.  It works also on IE, but that's a browser I do not use.

Several people, who appear to know what they are talking about, place the blame on Comcast/Xfinity rather than on Firefox.  I have also seen one comment that suggests using the latest Xfinity version, which I know I have (4.0.0.23) from your site.

My OS is WinXP Pro.  Can you help please?

Thanks.

I can't get it to work in Mac OS X either.  Most of the regulars in the forum will not recommend using the Comcast toolbar any way.  It has a long history of being trouble-prone.
