Xfinity Connect

Xfinity Connect

I am using Outlook 2016 and tried setting up Xfinity connect with my Comcast IMAP email account which is working fine.  But the Xfinity Connect  gets about 1/2 way and never completes.  I have to go to Taskmanager to stop it as it hangs Outlook.  Why does it want me to re-setup my email account?   Must I have a separate Xfinity Connect email account?
