Xfinity Connect-Mobile App Notifications not working

Starting this afternoon, phone (LG Fuel) and CONNECT always on, no more sound or flash notifications for email, as I've been getting ever since I put the phone in use with the app 6 months ago (and this morning)! NOTIFICATIONS is checked on app setting, restart of phone made no difference.

 

The phone sound and flashes are behaving normally for all other apps. So I'm tracing it back to Xfinity Connect mobile app as the issue.

 

Is there anything further I should do to troubleshoot or enable? Why the sudden change today (June 29th)?

 

I missed several mail responses because I was expecting behavior as normal with the app.

I would to recieve my E-MAIL to my mobile phone

 it IS the XFINITY app on my mobile phone that I'm getting my mail. I also know its issue with the app because texts come thru fine with notification tone.

 

Solution was Tech Support had me log off with app running on phone, stop the app, restart phone.

They reset password, I restarted app and it is now working as before.
