Windows 10 and email

I have a new computer with windows 10.  I can't find where to put my email addresses.  I put some under "people".  Emails to some people are sent-to others that I entered don't send.  Where can I put an address book that works.  Plus, I now have duplicates that I can't get rid of

Re: Windows 10 and email

Are you trying to use the Mail app that comes bundled with Windows 10, or just the Comcast webmail UI with your browser?  If you are using the Windows Mail app, it doesn't have it's own address book.  It uses the "People" address book you get with a Microsoft/Outlook.com account---if you have one.

Re: Windows 10 and email

Thanks.  That's what I figured.  I have put email address into the people acct and now have dupilcates and can't seem to delete them.  Plus, some people that I send to get my email and others the email is undeliverable.  I have spent hours on this.  Any suggestions on how to delete address from "people"  or see why some aren't sending?

Re: Windows 10 and email

Open the People app, and in the toolbar click on "Manage".  It will offer "Clean up Contacts" as an option.  See if that helps-----------------
