Why is it I have to go to the website to delete emails?

Why is it I have to go to the website to delete emails?

If I delete emails or move them around on my computer, as soon as I connect online, all the emails go back to where they were before I changed them. Why do I have to go the Xfinity site and change then there?

All you need to do is re-create the account on each computer or other device using IMAP instead of POP3.  You will find the settings here--------------

Once you are done, everything will be synced, so that if you delete an email on one device it will be deleted everywhere else.
